Virus RemovalWhen was the last time you cleaned your computer? This task is very easy and routine, but is quite often overlooked and extremely important. When computers become full of dust, you can lose proper cooling which makes your system run hotter and in turn slower. Not only is this annoying as it increases your wait times while working, but it can also damage or ruin some of your internal components. Here are some simple guidelines for keeping your system running smooth, quiet, and efficiently.
First, begin by turning off your computer and unplugging the power cord from it. Next, remove the additional cables that are plugged into the system, but be sure to remember where each one plugs in. You might write down or draw a map of the back of the computer, or take a picture to help you remember. Next, move the system somewhere that you can blow it out and not mind getting dust all over. You will most likely need a philips screwdriver for the next step, so go ahead and grab one on your way. Once you are in an open area, you need to take off the side panel of the computer by removing the two screws from the back of the case. Be sure to put the screws in a safe place, then slide the side cover off, most often by sliding it toward the back of the system.
Now you should be able to access the inside of your computer. Depending on how much dust has accumulated, you might want to start by grabbing or carefully vacuuming large deposits from the bottom of the case. The main areas of focus are going to be the CPU fan/heatsink, power supply, graphics card, and any other fans that might be inside the system. Take a can of compressed air, or other air source, and gently blow the dust out from each fan and heatsink (the heatsink is the metal object the fan is screwed into). Be careful when using air on fans though, as too much air or too continuous air can actually damage the bearings in the fan and cause it not to spin. It is best to use short, controlled bursts. Once this is done, you may check for any other spots you notice of dust collections, and then put the side panel back on the case and screw it in. Now would be a good time to take a rag or paper towel and clean the outside of the case before you put the system away. Take your system back to it’s original spot and plug it in using your cable map or picture you took earlier, then turn on your system and enjoy your clean, happy computer!
If you have a laptop computer, this process may not be so easy as most of the times the system needs to be taken apart to clean the fan. You can always bring your laptop by Level Seven Computers and we can either show you how to clean the fan if it is an easy access, or take the system apart for you and clean it out.

True Tech Surgeons
These guys are true tech surgeons. My computer one night stopped booting and I was ready to have a panic attack. They were the first resource that popped up on Google because of their 5 star ratings. So, I took it to them, dropped it off, and they took care of the issue in less than a 24 hour period. The final cost was less than $100 which I didn't expect. They even pulled my computer apart to show find a giant dust bunny that had been burrowing behind my fan for the past several years which is why it had been running slowly. Super nice guys.

Half The Price Quote Of Others In Town
I recently used Level Seven computers for the installation of a new platform for my PC. They charged me what they said they would and it was half the price quote of others in town. After I took my PC home, there were some issues. I contacted them and they fixed it the same day with no extra charge for their time. They made it right. That's hard to find in today's world. I highly recommend them to everyone in the Lincoln area for your computer needs!

Level Seven Rocks My World
Bob and company are the best for my business! I bought a new computer from them and a Blu-ray player too! But the best thing about Level 7 is the customer service after the sale. They take great care of you after the sale, and that for me is the best thing!
Level 7 rocks my world!! Thanks so much Bob!!- Randy Drewel, Owner A Lasting Impression DJ
These Guys Are Awesome
These guys give you a free diagnosis if you're a first time customer, which is amazing in comparison to other locations which charge you about 50 just to look at it. They fixed my PC that was afflicted with a fatal error. The fix unfortunately cost me all of my installed programs and games, but they managed to save all of my personal files, which was huge for me. The whole service even cost less than the price they quoted me, and while that may have been intentional to get my good graces, it totally worked. These guys are awesome.

Level Seven Exceeded My Expectations
I looked for a highly rated computer service store on Google Maps for Business. Level Seven Computers looked promising so I took my laptop in for an estimate and perhaps repair. Matt greeted me and listened to my story. Matt called me later that day with a quote and an estimation of the time frame for the repair. Level Seven exceeded my expectations. I recommend Level Seven for computer repairs.

No Need to Go Anywhere Else
I bought a used Sony laptop from them probably 3-4 years ago and it still runs like a new. Have had a Blue screen issue with a PC which they fixed promptly. They also replaced a power supply and memory in our tower HP PC and they did it at a very fair price. When daughter goes off to college in a couple of years I plan to buy another used laptop for her. The3ir used computers are as good as if not better than new and at about 1/2 the price. IMO they are the best shop in Lincoln, no need to go anywhere else.
